This was a personal hobby project to learn and get acquainted with the fundamentals of Power BI. It’s a Business Intelligence tool offered by Microsoft providing capabilities to connect to a wide variety of data sources, shape and model data, and build interactive visuals in the form of reports and dashboards.

- Connecting and shaping data by doing basic data transformations
Creating conditional columns, grouping and aggregating data, pivoting- unpivoting data, merging and appending queries, defining hierarchies.
- Modelling Data
Database Normalization, Data vs. Lookup tables, Keys, Relationships, Snowflake schemas, filter-flow, two-way filters.
- DAX Calculations
Calculated columns and measures, common DAX functions, filter context.
- Visualizing Data
Inserting objects and basic visual formatting, filtering categories, report interactions, drill-through filters, bookmarks, custom visuals, managing roles, desktop vs, phone layout, publishing a report, export options.
